About Kshetra

The Shri Raktheshwari Temple is situated in a place known as Poovanadka in Enmakaje Village and panchayat in Kasargod District  in the Kerala- Karnataka state Border. The place where the temple is situated was having a history of more than 80 years old.

Owing to the repeated ill-effects an Astamangala Prasnam was conducted in the Temple and it was revealed that the rennovation of the Temple should be done at the earliest. While acquiring the temples land, there were few stones and a khadga which was being worshipped by the vendors of the land.

Along with Raktheshwari, there are 2 other deities in this temple. They are named as Nagabramha,Bramha rakshassu representing Divine Carrier of Goddess Raktheshwari.

The temple area is owned by Sri.Balakrishna Sharma, the key person.
